Not related to Season 8, but I've just had my first dose of Dennis Haysbert in Buck Rogers. I see he appeared five times! Who'd have guessed?! Shame the episode he initially turned up in was a pile of poo! _________________ John

I wasn't sure about epsidodes/hours 1 & 2, but 3 & 4 were stronger and more nail-biting. What

Still very watchable. Looks like they've decided with it being the last series to just go for it and push the boundaries as far as they can.

So what did people think of the finale? It certainly surprised me in terms of not being OTT, disappointingly so. There was never any real doubt that Jack would survive, and therefore the tension was weaker than normal. The forthcoming film could have been set in the past but I don't think it would have worked as well as something set after the show's timeline.
Still, looking forward to what comes next, though because the production values were so high it'll have to be quite something to beat the best the TV version had to offer. _________________ John
